Our customers | |
Our customers are big companies that need high quality, advanced Information technologies
and Telecommunications Solutions. They typically are in the Internet business,
or else they want to use Open Intranet solutions for their document handling,
both internally and in relation with customers/providers.

Our people | |
High Sierra Technology is currently comprised of six people. We are looking for people
that want to work hard in delivering server java solutions in an enterprise
environment.

Our solutions | |
Currently
we specialize in ERP solutions (using Intranet Technologies and making them
work along with systems like SAP), Document Processing Systems, and Web Transactional
Systems.
We try
(very hard) to deliver open solutions to our customers. By open we mean:
- We
use open source platforms and products whenever it is possible.
- We
use open standards, like EJB, ISO SQL, SMTP/MIME, XML, HTTP, HTML, WAP,
WML, ECMAScript, JavaScript, etc. our developments.
- Our
solutions are multiplatform, and scalable. Technologies like CORBA, EJB,
and XML help to attain these goals.

We use
java to deliver our solutions.
We test
our solutions in several platforms. We use Linux, Solaris and Windows NT as
development platforms, and try our DataBase code against MS SQL Server, Oracle,
PostgreSQL and InstantDB.

The company is called High Sierra Technology.
We chose this name after the
Movie.
